From blueprint
to bill — building
Osun Central.
Arc. Goke Omigbodun brings decades as a licensed architect and estate surveyor to public service — a builder's discipline applied to housing, jobs, education, and government that works.
A builder's discipline, brought to public life.
Arc. Oyegoke Akinrinola Omigbodun is a distinguished architect, estate surveyor, educator, entrepreneur, politician, and community development advocate with decades of professional and leadership experience. A proud son of Osogbo from the respected Oloba'do family, he is widely recognised for his intellectual depth, integrity, discipline, and enduring commitment to the advancement of society.
He is professionally qualified and licensed in both Architecture and Estate Management — an exceptional combination that reflects his versatility and commitment to excellence. Through his work in the built environment, education, business, and public affairs, Arc. Omigbodun has developed a practical understanding of infrastructure, housing, urban development, job creation, and responsible governance.
His passion for service is deeply rooted in a strong family legacy. His father, the late Venerable Julius Ladunjoye Omigbodun, was the pioneer Principal of Osogbo Grammar School and the first Chairman of the former Osogbo District Council, which covered several present-day local government areas. This heritage of education, leadership, and community service has greatly influenced Arc. Omigbodun's values and vision.
As a teacher and proprietor, he has contributed to human-capital development by nurturing knowledge, discipline, and opportunities for younger generations. His leadership philosophy is founded on competence, accountability, inclusion, fairness, and evidence-based decision-making. He believes political representation should go beyond occupying office to delivering measurable improvements in the lives of the people.
Arc. Goke Omigbodun represents a new standard of purposeful leadership: experienced, accessible, intellectually equipped, and committed to positive representation. His vision is to apply professional expertise, legislative competence, and sincere public service toward building a more prosperous, inclusive, and sustainable future for the people of Osun Central and Nigeria.
Architecture
Licensed practice in the built environment — housing, infrastructure, and urban development.
Estate Surveying
Professional grounding in land, property, and valuation — the economics beneath every development.
Education
Years as a teacher and school proprietor, building the discipline and opportunity of younger generations.
Enterprise
Practical experience building and running businesses — the same instinct now aimed at job creation across the district.
How one career became a public one.
Raised on a legacy of service
Born into the Oloba'do family of Osogbo, the son of Ven. Julius Ladunjoye Omigbodun — pioneer Principal of Osogbo Grammar School and first Chairman of the former Osogbo District Council — Arc. Omigbodun grew up inside a household where education and public duty were the family business.
Two licenses, one built environment
He trained and qualified as both an Architect and an Estate Surveyor — a rare dual licensure that gave him a practical, ground-level understanding of housing, infrastructure, and urban development long before he entered public life.
Teacher, proprietor, employer
As a teacher and school proprietor, he took a direct hand in human-capital development — and as an entrepreneur, built a working understanding of job creation from the employer's side of the table.
From practice to policy
That combination — builder, educator, employer — is what now informs his candidacy for Osun Central: a leadership philosophy built on competence, accountability, inclusion, fairness, and evidence-based decision-making.
"Political representation should go beyond occupying office — to delivering measurable improvements in the lives of the people."— Arc. Goke Omigbodun
The Blueprint for Osun Central
A representative's agenda, drawn the way a building is: from the ground up. Four stages, in the order a builder would raise them.
Infrastructure & Housing
Roads, water, and affordable, well-planned housing — the physical base everything else in Osun Central is built on.
- Push for rehabilitation of failed roads linking rural communities to markets
- Advocate for affordable, planned housing schemes over unregulated sprawl
- Improve access to potable water in underserved wards
Education & Human Capital
Schools, skills, and mentorship that carry forward the same legacy that shaped his own family — knowledge as the load-bearing frame of a community.
- Champion better-equipped public schools across Osun Central
- Support scholarships and skills-acquisition programmes for youth
- Partner with technical and vocational institutions on job-ready training
Job Creation & Enterprise
Backing small business and enterprise across the district, so young people building a livelihood have real options at home.
- Support access to finance for small and medium-scale enterprises
- Encourage agro-processing and value-addition for local farm produce
- Attract investment into the district's trade and artisan clusters
Responsible Governance
Accountable, evidence-based decision-making that shelters every resident's interest — not just a select few.
- Hold regular town-hall briefings to report back to constituents
- Push for transparent, evidence-based use of constituency funds
- Represent Osun Central's interests on the floor of the National Assembly
